During the vernissage of the Transpositions exhibition at the Museum of Non-conformist Art, Agathe Simon introduces herself as a representative of the French Institute of Saint Petersburg. She announces that Agathe Simon has been detained and will be late for her performance and that, meanwhile, she will present this artist whom she’s been following for several years.
Under this fictional identity, Agathe Simon then comments her own art works in a peremptory tone and with erudite digressions proper to institutional codes.
