For The Conti Project, a multimedia cycle created in homage to an imaginary writer, Agathe Simon wrote several texts that she attributed to Gabriela Conti, allowing her literary incarnation. These (real) texts are published by ‘Éditions Claudine Béal’ in France and ‘Ediciones Mañana’ in Argentina (fictional publishing houses).

Gabriela Conti’s second text, entitled The Truths, recounts her experiences in the Central African Republic during her stay there in 1999 and her fascination with witchcraft. Published in 2000 by Ediciones Mañana in Buenos Aires, it won the Premio Literario Buenos Aires in Argentina that same year and the Grand Prix de littérature contemporaine in France the following year for its translation published by Claudine Béal publishing house.
